Ok, so I love reading blogs and I thought I can do this. And I did it once and then lost all hope because do I really have anything interesting to say and will people even read my rambling thoughts. Well, I know there are a few of you out there who will be faithful. So here it goes.........
I love Christmas! I love the decorations and the activities that we find ourselves doing. We have 5 Christmas trees. I love seeing the excitement in the kid's faces when we open presents (if you know me you know I can barely wait till Christmas morning to open the gifts. Right, Mom?) Here are some pictures of the kids making Gingerbreadhouses yesterday. It was so much fun! We had a mess but it was worth it. Jason trying to put the house together before the icing dried but not letting go to soon so it won't fall apart! It was great.

Some of you may know that I am a huge fan of Go Fish! It is a great kids group that is enjoyable for us parents as well. Anyway, they sing a Christmas song called the The Cross. While all the things I mentioned above are great the song is really the true meaning of Christmas and it has really opened my eyes as to why we celebrate. We have a tradition that we having been doing with the kids every year. We bake a cake for Jesus and sing Happy Birthday on Christmas Eve. Talk about new meaning. I hope you will take time to listen to the song and enjoy celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. I know we will. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtWdg6in9h0
